The 2026 sailing year is just around the corner – and you can be part of it!
Start the season with a special sailing trip on the traditional sailing ship OBAN from Amsterdam to Kiel – past the West and East Frisian islands, across the North Sea and through the Kiel Canal.
A varied week of sailing awaits you, in which active sailing and relaxing hours on deck harmonize perfectly. Feel the wind, enjoy the fresh sea air and experience the coastal landscapes from a unique perspective. On board, you will experience the special life on a traditional sailing ship. The experienced crew will show you everything about setting sails, steering and navigation – you are part of the crew here.
On Monday morning, you board the ship in Amsterdam, move into your cozy 2-person cabin and after a warm welcome, it’s time to cast off! You will experience active, relaxing and impressive days at sea. The captain will decide which ports to call at depending on the weather conditions – one thing is certain: you will get to know charming places with maritime flair.
This sailing trip is not short on culinary delights either: you prepare meals together with the crew while Captain Olaf demonstrates his cooking skills. Coffee and tea are available at all times, and the evenings invite you to wind down in convivial company.
After an intensive week at sea, you reach the Blücherbrücke in Kiel. Your journey ends – with fresh impressions, wonderful memories and the feeling of having been part of a real ship’s crew.
Optional: come on board on Sunday evening from 8 p.m. – the additional overnight stay including breakfast costs 65 euros per person and enables a relaxed start to the sailing adventure.
