The new sailing season is here! Experience a varied overwintering cruise aboard the Zuiderzee —a historic sailing ship that will take us from Harlingen in the Netherlands to Hamburg . Look forward to an exciting journey across the Wadden Sea and the North Sea, where the focus is on a genuine sailing experience, working together, and the special atmosphere of spring at sea.
In April, the North Sea reveals a side all its own. Fresh sea air, vast horizons, ever-changing weather, and the first vibrant colors of spring accompany us on our way to Hamburg. Depending on the wind, weather, and tide, we set course for the Elbe and experience the North Sea coast from a unique perspective. This sailing trip isn’t just a journey from point A to point B—it offers plenty of opportunities to experience traditional sailing up close.
On board the Zuiderzee, the motto is: Sail along and pitch in! Together with the crew and the other passengers, you can actively participate in daily life on board—setting and trimming the sails, at the helm, or helping with deck maneuvers. No prior knowledge is required. Whether you already have sailing experience or are aboard a traditional sailing ship for the first time—everyone can get involved according to their abilities and experience the thrill of sailing.
A sailing trip for anyone who’s looking forward to fresh sea air, real teamwork, and a special start to the new sailing season!
Life on board is also all about community. Thanks to the hands-on full-board program, meals are prepared together and enjoyed in a convivial atmosphere. After an eventful day of sailing, cozy evenings in the salon or on deck are the perfect time to reflect on the day’s events and enjoy the special atmosphere at sea.
Whether it’s enjoying a fresh breeze on deck, sharing a meal together, or chatting under the starry sky, this fall cruise offers the perfect opportunity to leave everyday life behind and experience the Baltic Sea to the fullest.
