Fancy a break on the water? Come aboard the Oban and experience the wind in your sails, fresh Baltic Sea air and life on a traditional sailing ship up close.

Your cruise begins on Sunday evening in the port of Stockholm. After being welcomed by the crew and fellow sailors, you will get to know the ship, move into your cozy double cabin and relax at the end of the evening – perhaps with a view of the city lights and the calm waters of the archipelago. The next morning it’s time to cast off!

Together you set sail and set course through the fascinating island world of the Stockholm archipelago towards the Åland Sea. Captain Olaf plans the route flexibly according to wind and weather – possible stages lead through sheltered archipelago fairways, to small island harbors or further out to the Åland Islands with their red wooden houses, smooth granite rocks and quiet bays. Every day brings new impressions and destinations.

On board, you are part of the crew: you can actively help with setting sail, steering or navigating – or simply enjoy life on board, watch the passing islands and relax on deck.

We cook together with fresh ingredients – breakfast on deck, a hot dinner in the saloon or a coffee in between. Meals are an integral part of life on board and invite you to enjoy pleasant conversations.

In the evening, you can either moor in a small harbor or enjoy the peace and quiet at anchor in a sheltered archipelago bay. You’ll get a good night’s sleep in your cabin before a new day of sailing in the island world begins.

You return to Stockholm on Thursday evening or Friday morning. After 12 days at sea, you will arrive back in the Swedish capital relaxed, invigorated and full of new impressions.
