Your journey begins in Stockholm, the fascinating capital of Sweden with its islands, historic streets and maritime flair. Once you have settled into your cozy cabin, you will get to know the crew and your fellow sailors. Then it’s time to cast off! Captain Olaf plans the route flexibly – depending on the wind and weather, just like a real sailing trip.
The Oban first glides through the idyllic archipelago landscape before heading out into the Baltic Sea. Small harbors, quiet bays and sheltered anchorages await you along the way – perfect places to experience nature and the sea up close.
Together with the crew, you prepare fresh meals, and a familiar, cheerful onboard community quickly develops. In the evening, you sit on deck, share stories, laugh and enjoy the sunsets at sea.
You will sleep in a comfortable 2-person cabin, ideal for relaxing after an eventful day. You don’t need any previous experience – sailing is suitable for anyone who enjoys exercise, company and the sea. Some physical fitness is helpful, as the ship occasionally anchors and you will be transferred ashore with the dinghy.
Finally, a real highlight awaits you: you arrive in Rostock just in time for the Hanse Sail, one of the largest maritime festivals in Europe. Hundreds of traditional sailing ships, windjammers and museum ships transform the harbor into a sea of sails – an unforgettable sight!
