The Oerol Festival 2026 will take place from June 12 to 21, 2026 on the Dutch Wadden Island of Terschelling. Oerol is one of the largest and best-known theater festivals in Europe. You can experience theater, dance, music and visual arts in extraordinary and natural venues all over the island.
During the Oerol Festival, our sailing ship Noorderlicht will be moored in the port of West-Terschelling from June 12 to 19, 2026. You have the opportunity to visit the festival and stay overnight directly on board a traditional sailing ship.
With its comfortable 2-person cabins, the Noorderlicht offers you a special and maritime overnight stay on Terschelling. The berth in the port of West-Terschelling is located in the immediate vicinity of the lively center and is the ideal starting point for your visit to Oerol.
You will spend the night in a cozy cabin with a bunk bed, mirror, washbasin and power socket. Your bed will already be made up on arrival. You share the showers and toilets with the other guests on board.
The spacious common room invites you to relax and is equipped with comfortable seating, books and games – perfect for a relaxed end to the festival day.
The Noorderlicht will be moored in the port of West-Terschelling from Saturday, June 13 to Friday, June 19, 2026.
