Sailing around Funen – sailing trip from Kiel

Experience one of the most popular sailing trips on the Baltic Sea: the circumnavigation of the Danish island of Funen. This classic combines maritime adventure with Nordic serenity, beautiful nature and a real sense of community on board. You can expect wind, waves and a week full of unforgettable experiences – pure sailing in Denmark.

Your journey begins in Kiel at the Blücherbrücke, where you board the Oban. After a warm welcome, you will get to know the crew and your fellow sailors. The captain will show you around the ship and explain everything you need to know – and if you like, you can lend a hand setting the sails.

In the following days, you will sail around Funen, Denmark’s fourth largest island. From the water, you will discover quiet bays, lively harbor towns and endless horizons. The route depends on the wind and weather – because when sailing, the journey is just as important as the destination. In the evening, you moor in charming harbors or spend a night at anchor – a real highlight under the starry sky.

Culinary delights are also on offer: freshly prepared meals are prepared together in the galley and enjoyed on deck or in the cozy saloon. Fresh sea air, good food and inspiring conversations – that’s sailing on the Baltic Sea the way it should be.

After a day full of impressions, your cozy 2-person cabin awaits – perfect for resting and dreaming.
When you disembark in Kiel at the end, you’ll be left with salt on your skin, new friendships – and the memory of a special sailing trip in Denmark.

If you want a relaxed start, you can come on board on Friday evening from 8 pm.
The optional overnight stay with breakfast costs €65 per person.
