The OOST-VLIELAND was built in Makkum in 1926 for fishing on the Dutch coastal waters. Just in time for her 90th anniversary, skipper Erik (formerly Bisschop van Arkel) has lovingly rebuilt and redesigned the ship.
From the large and safe cockpit, the jib, mainsail and leeboards are easy to operate while sailing.
There is a cozy seating area in the saloon, opposite which are the kitchen and the navigation corner. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need to conjure up the most delicious meals. There are 5 comfortable double cabins which offer sufficient privacy. The cozy day room invites you to sit together and enjoy unforgettable evenings.
Thanks to the new layout, the ship is perfect for small groups looking for a sociable cruise with fun and adventure as well as relaxation and culinary variety. Skipper Erik is happy to share his more than 40 years of sailing experience with anyone he can help out at sea.
