The Albert Johannes welcomes you to the port of Rönne on Bornholm on Saturday. After checking in and getting to know the crew, the adventure begins: after a short safety briefing, it’s time to cast off for the first time!
Together we set sail and leave everyday life behind us. The wind accompanies us as we head south – across the open Baltic Sea, along the coasts of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and on to Rostock.
The daily routine on board follows the rhythm of wind and waves. Whether setting sail, at the helm or in the galley – everyone is part of the crew. New sailors are carefully instructed and experienced sailors are allowed to play an active role. This creates a strong sense of community.
In the evening, we head for small, cozy harbors or spend the night at anchor in a sheltered bay. Away from the hustle and bustle, you can enjoy conversations on deck, meals together in the open air and maybe even a dip in the water. Sunsets and the sound of the sea included.
The route is not rigidly planned, but coordinated daily with the captain. Thinking and shaping the trip together makes it lively and individual.
On board the Albert Johannes you can expect a real sailing feeling, freshly prepared meals, intense nature experiences and lots of good conversation. Every day brings new impressions – that’s exactly what makes this sailing vacation on the Baltic Sea so appealing.
On Friday we reach Rostock city harbor, where the trip ends – but what remains is a fresh breeze in our heads, new friendships and unforgettable memories.
