Take advantage of the long Whitsun weekend for a few unforgettable days on the water – on board the impressive three-masted schooner Albert Johannes!
On Friday evening, you will board the ship in Rostock city harbour, stow your luggage in your comfortable cabin and get to know the crew and your fellow sailors during an initial welcome round. After a brief introduction to the ship, sails and seamanship, your very personal adventure begins on Saturday morning:
“Cast off!” – and the wind determines the course.
Experience the special mixture of peace and space on the water, the power of the sun on your skin and the good atmosphere on deck. Even sailing newcomers quickly feel what it means to be carried by the wind – without an engine, in harmony with the elements. Sailing can be addictive – in the best sense of the word.
After eventful hours at sea, you will find restful sleep in your cabin – safely moored in the harbor or quietly at anchor in a sheltered bay.
The physical well-being is taken care of: with the participatory catering, everyone chops, stirs and cooks together – with fresh ingredients, good humor and lots of little tips from the galley. This turns every meal into a shared experience.
The start and finish of the trip is the Rostock city harbor.

Accommodation is in shared cabins. Cabins for 2 persons on request with surcharge (25%).
