Within 24 hours you will experience how sailing, falling dry and mudflat hiking merge into a unique nature experience. The Wadden Sea, characterized by the rhythm of high and low tide, offers perfect conditions for a special kind of sailing trip.
You will board in Harlingen at midday and receive a warm welcome from the crew. After a short introduction, it’s time to cast off! The sails are set and the tall ship sets course for the open mudflats.
After a relaxing sailing trip, the ship drops anchor – and the fascinating Wadden Sea shows its unique side: the water slowly recedes, the ship dries out and a wide sandbank opens up in front of you. Perfect for a mudflat hike directly from the ship.
The tide returns as the sun sets. You enjoy the silence of the night, the gentle lapping of the sea – and sleep deeply and relaxed in your bunk.
The next morning we head back to Harlingen with the tide and a fresh breeze – with sand on our shoes, salty air in our noses and memories that will stay with us.
