Seize the opportunity and come aboard a traditional tall ship – for an unforgettable sailing adventure in the Wadden Sea. In just 24 hours, you will experience how sailing, falling dry and mudflat hiking merge in a unique way.
The Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site, characterized by the constant rhythm of high and low tide, offers ideal conditions for a special kind of sailing trip.
You board the boat in Harlingen at midday and are warmly welcomed by the crew. After a short introduction, it’s time to cast off! The sails are set and the tall ship sets course for the open mudflats.
After a relaxing cruise, the ship drops anchor – and with the low tide, the fascinating dry fall begins. Soon the ship lies gently on its side and a wide sandbank opens up in front of you – perfect for a mudflat hike directly from the ship.
When the sun goes down, the water returns. You enjoy the tranquillity of the night, the gentle lapping of the sea and sleep soundly in your bunk.
The next morning, it’s time to set sail again: Together with the crew, you set course back to Harlingen – with fresh wind in your hair, sand on your shoes and memories that will stay with you.
Included services: Full board, coffee, tea, water, bed linen, towel set, final cleaning and harbor fees
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available from the crew at the bar at fair prices for a fee.
