A sailing ship with a history. The ship was launched in 1899 under the name "Johanna Christina". At that time it still had only one mast and was 24 meters long. At that time, the ship sailed the Dutch inland waters with cargo. First under sail, later with a motor. The ship was lengthened twice to its current 36 meters. In 1990, the ship was converted into a modern, comfortable and sporty passenger sailing ship. Its name was changed to ACTIEF, thus keeping the memory of its active history alive. The ACTIEF is spacious and comfortably equipped with all amenities for both children and adults. The day room impresses with its brightness and coziness. The very spacious galley/kitchen is directly integrated into the day room. Directly adjacent to the kitchen is a storage room for food. The Actief has a dispensing system and a gas barbecue. Your friendly and dedicated host and skipper on the Actief is: Arnoud. He has a lot of experience and has been sailing since his youth. He will be happy to tell you all about sailing on the ACTIEF. In principle, everything is possible in terms of routes, depending on the wind and tides and in consultation with the skipper.
