After its launch in 1909, the ZUIDERZEE set sail as a cargo ship and transported goods across the world’s oceans for decades. She received her first engine in 1921, and a year later the interior was stylishly extended – a successful combination of function and maritime elegance. Since 1991, the “Grand Old Lady” has been sailing mainly on the Baltic Sea and has been delighting her guests with charm, history and comfort ever since.

The ZUIDERZEE is a powerful yet extremely reliable sailing ship. She offers generous space on deck – ideal for both active sailing maneuvers and moments of peace and quiet. The elegant teak deck in particular invites you to relax and linger while the vastness of the sea passes you by.
