On the traditional sailing trip from Wilhelmshaven to Scheveningen, you have the chance to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you and fully immerse yourself in the goings-on on the water. Depending on the wind and weather conditions, the captain will discuss the day’s route with you and set sail with you. The ship’s crew will of course be happy to help you and explain and show you everything so that you can quickly find your way around on board, even if you are new to sailing.
The Jantje is the “good mood ship” of the fleet, which is due to the always cheerful crew, with whom you will have a lot of fun. Of course, you will also have plenty of time to relax in peace and enjoy the sea air.
There are only modern double cabins on board, where you can make yourself comfortable and spend relaxing nights.
Captain Marten prepares delicious and fresh meals with you, which you eat in a convivial atmosphere. Catering starts on Monday morning with breakfast. On Sunday evenings, however, pizza is often ordered, which everyone can help with as required.
After five exciting days of sailing, you will reach Scheveningen, the largest seaside resort in the Netherlands, just a few kilometers from The Hague. From here you start your journey home, which is easy thanks to good rail connections.
