Setting sail for the Whitsun cruise

Do you dream of experiencing life on board a majestic traditional sailing ship up close? Or are you longing for a little break on the water, far away from everyday life? Then come on board the Zephyr and enjoy an unforgettable Whitsun weekend at sea!

On Friday evening, you will be warmly welcomed on board by the crew in Kiel. After you have settled into your comfortable cabin, you will get to know the ship and your fellow sailors. And soon it’s time to cast off for the first time! – Your sailing adventure begins.

Depending on the wind and weather, the captain sets a suitable route every day. The result is a successful mix of active sailing days and relaxed stops in small, picturesque harbor towns or sheltered bays. If you like, you can lend a hand yourself: set sail, take the helm or learn knots – the crew will show you how it’s done and quickly make you part of the crew.

You spend the evenings in convivial company on board – whether in the harbor or under the open sky at anchor. End the day together with a freshly prepared dinner, swap stories and enjoy the special atmosphere on the water.

For your comfort, bed linen is included, so you only need to bring your own personal items. You will be accommodated in cozy 2-berth or 4-berth cabins. The 4-berth cabins offer a little more space, while the 2-berth cabins can also be booked for single travelers in shared occupancy. With a maximum of 16 people on board, the atmosphere always remains informal and personal.

On Monday, the Whitsun holiday, we sail back to our home port, where the extended weekend ends in the afternoon – with fresh sea air in our heads and many unforgettable memories in our luggage.
