Would you like to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience life on board a traditional sailing ship in all its beauty? Feel the longing for the wind in your hair, the gentle waves under your keel and the boundless expanse of the sea? Then come aboard the Zephyr and treat yourself to a soothing fall break on the Baltic Sea.
On Monday evening, you board the ship in Kiel and move into your cozy cabin. The golden autumn colors outside are reflected in the calm atmosphere as you explore the sailing ship and make your first contacts with the crew and your fellow sailors. The evening invites you to arrive in a relaxed atmosphere – space for conversation over a hot cup of tea and the whisper of the wind.
On Tuesday morning it’s time to cast off! The captain sets the route according to the wind and weather. Ahead of you lies a varied week along the autumnal Baltic coast – with active sailing days, quiet moments on deck and stops in picturesque harbors. You can help set sail, steer or navigate while the experienced crew explains everything. You will quickly become part of a close-knit crew.
Evenings and nights are spent sheltered in idyllic harbors or – weather permitting – at anchor, surrounded by the tranquil melody of the autumnal sea. On board, you will enjoy freshly prepared meals, good conversation and the special tranquillity that only the sea can provide in the cooler months of the year.
You will sleep in comfortable double occupancy, either in a 2-berth or 4-berth cabin. You are also welcome as a single traveler – a shared 2-person cabin offers you a cozy home for this special sailing trip.
On Sunday morning, you return to Kiel with the scent of salt water in your nose and the glow of autumn light in your luggage. The voyage ends after breakfast, but you take with you not only warm clothes and salty hair, but also many precious memories, new experiences and the feeling of an intense, lively week at sea.
