Would you like to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience life on board a traditional sailing ship in all its beauty? Do you feel the longing for the wind in your hair, the gentle waves under your keel and the boundless expanse before you? Then come aboard the Zephyr and treat yourself to a pleasant fall break at sea.
You come on board on Monday evening and settle into your cozy cabin. The golden autumn colors outside are reflected in the calm atmosphere on board while you explore the ship and make your first contacts with the crew and fellow sailors. The evening invites you to arrive in a relaxed atmosphere – a meal is not yet planned today, so there is still time for conversation over a hot cup of tea and the whisper of the wind.
On Tuesday morning, it’s time to cast off! The captain sets the route according to the gentle play of wind and weather. Ahead of you lies a varied week along the autumnal Baltic coast – with active sailing days, quiet moments on deck, wrapped in the warm colors of autumn, and stops in picturesque harbor towns. If you wish, you are welcome to help set the sails, steer or navigate. The experienced crew will show you all the moves so that you quickly become part of a familiar on-board community.
You will spend the evenings and nights sheltered in idyllic harbors or – weather permitting – at anchor, wrapped up in the quiet melody of the autumnal sea. On board, you will enjoy freshly prepared meals together, lively conversation and the special tranquillity that only the sea can provide in the cooler months of the year.
Accommodation is in comfortable double occupancy, optionally in 2-berth or 4-berth cabins. Single travelers are also very welcome and will find a home for this special journey in a shared cabin for two.
On Sunday morning, you return to Kiel with the scent of salt water and the glow of autumn light. Your journey ends after breakfast – but your luggage will not only contain warm clothes and salty hair, but also many precious memories, new experiences and the feeling of an intense, lively week at sea.
