Imagine this: You sail out into the Wadden Sea on a traditional tall ship, watch the water slowly recede – and suddenly you’re standing on the seabed. This natural wonder is called falling dry, and you are right in the middle of it!
The Wadden Sea has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009 – a unique place full of life, vastness and magic. Ideal for mudflat hiking, marveling and discovering.
Together with the skipper and sailors, you will sail to one of the most beautiful places in the Wadden Sea during a day trip. There you will experience a guided mudflat hike – barefoot through the mudflats, accompanied by exciting stories and fascinating insights into this special ecosystem.
You watch the water disappear, walk across the seabed, enjoy dinner with only 30 cm of water under the boat – and watch the sea slowly return. The weather and tides even allow for a little sailing at the end.
Falling dry and mudflat hiking – an experience you won’t soon forget.
